Education is an important part of the Kurdi Foundation’s mission. Tima Kurdi is an internationally recognized speaker who has spoken to many organizations across the world about the refugee crisis and how governments, businesses and citizens can take practical steps to help. Organizations such as the European Union, The United Nations Refugee Agency in Canada, TED-X, the City of Vancouver, and the University of British Columbia have benefited from Tima’s insight and call to action.

The Kurdi Foundation also runs workshops for companies on the subject of team building and how to become more philanthropic to increase employee engagement and acquire top talent. Talks can be customized to meet the specific client and audience needs.
